The acoustic parking aid MagicWatch MWE 890 from Dometic for the front of cars with a width of up to 2.20 meters.
The Dometic parking aid MWE 890 is equipped with four ultrasonic sensors (Ø 22 mm), which are mounted in the front bumper of your vehicle. The system is activated by the speedometer or by engaging reverse gear and automatically mutes an activated car radio immediately. Obstacles are only recognized in a danger zone greater than 75 cm, which is particularly helpful when there is heavy traffic.
The parking aid MWE 890 acoustically monitors the front area from a distance of 0.75 meters or less. The detection area of the sensors is divided into four distance zones, each of which is indicated acoustically in different tones. The continuous tone of zone 4 thus signals "stop". The sensitivity of the sensors can be regulated individually.
Optionally, this parking aid can also be equipped with an optical display and, for example, with the parking aid MWE 860 (which is also optionally available for the rear area) provides comprehensive protection when parking.

And please always remember that a parking aid should provide you with additional support. However, this does not mean that the use of this device (as well as all other auxiliary systems) does not release you from performing your special duty of care and caution when maneuvering.
