Dometic FP 300 Windscreen blind, silk grey, for Fiat Ducato Type X250/X290
A high-quality darkening system in colour silk grey for the windscreen of a motorhome based on Fiat Ducato type X250/X290 or the identical models Peugeot Boxer and Citroen Jumper from year of construction July 2006 or since July 2014 (type 290).
Not only does this system protect your privacy from the prying eyes of others, it also keeps out heat, cold and up to 99% of harmful UV radiation. The Dometic blackout system FP 300 is made of double-pleated, aluminum-coated honeycomb material and is very easy to mount (restrictions see "Important to know!"). In combination with the SP 300 side window blind, which was new presented at the end of 2019, the cab area of your vehicle can be completely darkened.
The frontscreen blind also fits to vehicles that are equipped with a rain sensor box. In this case, the required cut-out in the upper stop rail is pre-milled with a groove and can be removed if necessary (see also picture #9 above). If your vehicle is not equipped with a rain sensor box, the upper stop rail will be installed as supplied.
For mounting the front screen darkening, you need a handheld or cordless screwdriver with a smaller and larger cross bit as well as a metal twist drill Ø 2.5 mm and Ø 6.0 mm. Also a sturdy carpet knife (cutter), if you must make the necessary cut-out in the stop rail (see picture # 9 above) for the rain sensor box.
If you do not have any of the required metal twist drills, you can add the required drill individually or both as a set to your order (see "Accessories" below).
The scope of delivery includes only the darkening blind for the windscreen of the driver's cab.
The identical darkening system for the side-windows (left and right) is optionally available (see our Item-Number 550-00660) or can also be purchased as a complete package (Item-Number 550-00680).
This product is not suitable for vehicles whose interior rear-view mirror cannot be dismantled or which are equipped with folding beds, roof racks, storage compartments or side or optionally built-in airbags!
