Dometic HEKI 2 DE LUXE rooflight, 1080 x 790 mm, 25-32 mm roof thickness of Caravans
The Dometic Heki 2 DE LUXE admits not just lots of light and fresh air into your Caravan. Integrated lights and a double-pleated Duette honeycomb roller blind additionaly create a cosy ambiance.
A roller fly screen and the Duette honeycomb roller blind are mounted on the inner frame and can be adjusted independently or together. The blind also provides a maximum of thermal insulation. The window panel is easy to open by using a metal bar handle and has pneumatic springs to hold it securely in one of their three opening places. A bad weather position keeps rain out while preventing the wind from lifting the panel. Enjoy fresh air and light at your own convenience. The color of the inside frame is cremewhite (RAL 9001).
The Heki 2 can be installed in a vehicle roof up to a maximum of 60 mm thickness. You may need an additional, optional mounting set for this. Further details can be found in the information tab "Good to know!"

In the delivery are included:
- the outer frame with glass dome
- the inner frame
- 16x fastening screw 4,0 x 25 mm
- 16x fastening screw 2.5 x 12 mm
- 16x mounting bracket (standard for roof thickness 25-32 mm)
- 6x ventilation grille & 4x light cover, and
- a mulit-langual installation and operating manual
Other accessory, such like sealing or fastening material for lager roof thicknesses, is not included!
The skylight can be installed transversely with the hinge side facing forwards or longitudinally (optionally left or right) to the direction of travel.
The design of the HEKI 2 is suitable for vehicles that normally do not exceed a speed of 130 km/h (80 mph). The HEKI 2 de Luxe can also be used in vehicles that do not exceed the speed limit. Excessive wind resistance due to excessive speed can lead to damage to the skylight, which in turn can result in the loss of any warranty claims.
To reduce wind resistance (and thus any noise that may arise) while driving, the roof window can also (optionally) be fitted with a suitable spoiler from Dometic. Two lengths are available depending on the installation position (transverse or longitudinal):
Dometic spoiler 810 mm for longitudinal position, or
Dometic spoiler 1110 mm for transverse position
A mounting kit for a roof thickness of 25-32 mm is included as standard. However, Dometic also offers mounting kits for the following roof thicknesses:
32-39 mm 39-46 mm 46-53 mm or 53-60 mm.
If one of the mounting kits listed above is required, it must be purchased separately (optional). In such a case, however, it is not possible to offset it against the mounting set included as standard.
